This is mainly because we work with Italian fabrics that guarantee quality and durability while maintaining vibrant colors. In the case of our white shirts, Italian fabrics provide a brighter, whiter appearance compared to other fabrics because white is also a color. It starts with the cultivation of the fibers, where the quality of the water and irrigation have a major influence on the growth of the fibers. The fibers are then washed and treated with water to remove impurities, creating a clean base for further processing of the fabric. Water is also essential for dyeing the fabric. It helps activate dyes and distribute the color evenly across the fabric. Our Italian producers use high-quality dyes and techniques that deliver vibrant colors and long-lasting results. Finally, the finishing, after weaving or knitting, water is used again in finishing processes such as fixing colors and improving the texture of the fabric. Craftsmanship and the use of more environmentally friendly techniques also play a role. Water conservation and water reuse are examples of sustainable methods that cost money but reduce the ecological impact of water use. Of course, the final price is also influenced by production in Portugal, the use of high-quality buttons and higher fabric consumption to match designs, but it starts with the purchase of the fabrics.
